KIFAD has remained a direct supporter of vulnerable communities for over two decades demonstrating a commitment and capacity to adapt to our ever-evolving world. Our method enables capacity building at all levels among vulnerable families; local community-based partners; and local government systems.
Projects we are focusing on
USAID Local Partner Health Services
Vocational Skills for Vulnerable Youth
Children, adolescents and young people are safe and influence decision-making in resilient communities that respect their rights and offer equal opportunities for all regardless of gender.
Partner Organizations: Plan International, ACTogether, GLOFOD
This project targets Kampala, Mukono, and Wakiso Districts, and aims to provide improved non-formal education to under-employed youth in order to enable them overcome unemployment and poverty.
Partner Organizations: Welthungerhilfe, USSIA
Within the target area of Karamoja, Teso, this project aims to improve livelihoods and increase uptake of quality services for 3,600 girls and women.

Opportunities for Young People
The USAID Local Partner Health Services-TB (LPHS-TB) Activity is a five-year Cooperative Agreement implemented by the Infectious Diseases Institute Limited (IDIL) in partnership with The AIDS Support Organization and other Organizations.
