“Run Against HIV/AIDS” is an annual international race organized in Nansana, Wakiso District, Uganda, East Africa. This race will be the first of its kind in the area. It is a 10 kilometer race organized in rural areas of Nansana.
It is a unique event organized and spearheaded by People Living with HIV/AIDS in the community. Raising much needed funds for worthy causes is a vital ingredient of this race.
Goal
To contribute to increased access to comprehensive HIV/AIDS Treatment, care and Support to people living with HIV/AIDS.
Objective
- To organize a sporting event annually.
- To raise funds for construction of an HIV/AIDS Care and Support Clinic in the community.
