Socio-Economic Strengthening is a portfolio of strategies and interventions that supply protect and grow physical, natural, financial, human and social assets. KIFAD program will thus support vulnerable children (VC), People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and their households to improve their socio-economic status using three main strategies that will protect and grow their asset base namely: Increasing household financial resources, increasing socio-economic skill base and facilitating Market Inclusion. An integrated, market-based approach is tailored to support vulnerable children (VC) and their households (HH) to improve their socio-economic status using three strategic pillars:

• Facilitate market inclusion
